Telephone Format

I am setting up a database using Libre Base. I have a telephone field and don’t seem to be able to find the telephone format ( ) -_ that is used with other database applications. Is this available with Base?

I defined a pattern (000) 000-0000 in Calc entered a real phone number as 8008009000 and it was correctly formated.
May be it works also in Base, try it out.
