Text color not change in writer

Ok I used LibreOffice quite a time.
So I had some updates. I have download the last version.
But still I have the same problems in writer and calc.

In Writer
I can not change the black color in an other color red or purple.
I have tried everything also change layout design so i start fresh.
I Change colors html automatic and all that what I can change but still it does not work.

In Calc
I write in a cell and I can change the text in a cell in the color what I like.
But If I hit an other cell The color is gone and I have still the black text and not a red of a purple text in that cell.

I have this from the beginning and with sevral versions of LibreOffice.

What can I do?

What can I do?

First, name your OS, LO version and save format.

Next, describe precisely what you do in Writer against what (main text flow or some fancy inserted graphical object like a text box). Are you familiar with styles?

Best option is to attach a 1-page sample file with description inside.
