Text of documents in writer missing

I just updated to 24.2.0.3 build da48488a73ddd66ea24cf16bbc4f7b9c08e9bea1 and when I try to open a document (any extension it seems, doc, docx, odt), the majority of my text is missing.

I see less than one page (the document opens only as a single page with partial text), seemingly randomly, but at the bottom, the file is reporting the full amount of text at the bottom: 17,177 words, 106,497 characters.

Running in SafeMode made no difference. Thinking about “Reset entire user profile” but not sure that is wise.

Also, to be clear, if I open in OpenOffice or in Preview in a web browser, all the text is in the files, but export to PDF exports only the tiny slice.

24.2.<<0>>.3 shows it is an “early adopter” version. Bugs may still be present and actively chased by testers.
Does the bug also happens with the current production release which should be 7.6.4.1.
What is your OS?

Could you please share a (possibly dummy) document that shows the problem? To find and fix a possible bug, it is important to be able to reproduce the bug first.
