Text outside of margins in Windows 11

Hi,

Every document I open on LibreWriter (7.6.2.1, X86_64) the text is outside of the page and saves this way when a new version is exported. Laptop is running Windows 11 but on an old laptop running Windows 7 the document opens OK with all text within page and exports the same, all OK.

Are there any particular settings to change so that all the text remains within the borders of the page. Settings are on A4.

Thanks for any and all help.

Edit your question (=modify it) to mention LO version (exact version with 4 numbers).

What you describe looks like a tentative PDF document display when font (s) needed by the document are not installed. So, double check you really open an .odt (or .doc(x)) file. If this is a .pdf, then your font configuration is not the same between your W7 and W10 computers.

Note that a PDF does not open in Writer but in Draw because it is considered a graphical file.

Thanks for the reply. Its a .pdf document. Where do I get/check font configurations from?

Use a PDF reader. They use have a menu item to display properties, among which fonts. In Draw, you must select one of the text boxes to see the font name. And you have to do it on every text box. This is not reasonable on a large document.
