The icons are not appeared

Thanks for the advice but it seems no change.

And what icon set is selected currently?

Do you mean this?

Yes; and how did you get that Galaxy there? We don’t have it in the default install set. I assume, you downloaded an extension… What happens with the automatic (Colibre) case?

What happens in Safe Mode?
If Safe Mode makes no difference, I wonder if reinstalling / repairing setup could help (but then, an extension-based icon set would show despite broken installation? Strange…)

as you told, I downloaded an extension because Colibre does not have any icon. Some old document said Galaxy shows icons.
I already installed several times.

When I launch soffice_safe.exe the icons show properly. Is my Libreoffice damaged in some parts?

If safe mode has icons, then in the safe mode dialog, try to reset settings.

I reset with all check boxes in safe mode but icons are still not shown. I think it is not a issue that recovers by settings.

We just try things one by one.
What is the complete content of your Help->About dialog?
The next step would be to rty to disable hardware acceleration in the safe mode dialog.

I check the disable hardware acceleration in safe mode and restart but still same.

Well, my last idea would be to try to repair the installation (using Windows control panel).

I tried recovery and it took time to reinstall but the icon is not shown.
Is it a last method I can set?

A bug report is needed. I can’t give you more ideas to try.

Thanks anyway.

Submitted as tdf#166803 with NEEDINFO status from OP to provide result of clearing user profile.

UserProfile/zh-cn, or guess that should have been UserProfile/ko

I removed Libreoffice and profile.
After reinstall there is still no icon in the toolbars in dark/light.

I had the same issue and here is the way I solved the problem :

  • open ‘options’ and select ‘view’
  • uncheck use ‘Skia for all rendering’

This solved the issue ; you may also try to uncheck ‘Use hardware acceleration’

I also have this issue, testing LibreOffice 25.8.1.1 AARCH64 builds on a Windows 11 Pro 24H2 VM running on VMware Fusion 13.6.4 (build 24832108), on an M1 Max Mac Studio running macOS Tahoe 26.0.1 (build 25A362).

While this is a “solution”, performance is absolutely abysmal under this particular setup. And I know this is an extremely specific use case, which I won’t likely use as a daily driver, but I may need to resort to this configuration in order to export documents in case bugs arise in the macOS version of LOo Writer.

I also may intend on getting one of these PCs at some point, and not being able to test this config under a VM makes it extremely difficult to weigh in on such a purchase.

Thank you sir!
I can confirm this fix worked with Win 11 (Version10.0.26200 Build 26200) Lenovo Yoga 7x slim.

This bug was driving me crazy. Unchecking ‘Use Skia for all rendering’ helped.
Tools → Options → View → ‘Use Skia for all rendering’ (off)

This also appeared to work whether I was in dark mode or light mode.

I also had very bad performance on a Apcsilmic Dot 1 Snapdragon 7c computer when Skia was disabled. As soon as I disabled both Skia and hardware acceleration, the performance was good enough for me.

I had the same problem… on the very same laptop.
Can confirm this was the fix!
thank you so much!
