The way, LO is offered for download, changed to the worse

The way LO is offered for download on the website has not only deteriorated considerably, it is also inconsistent between languages!
Until recently, the website always offered two versions for download: a fresh, up-to-date version, which could still contain bugs, and a stable version recommended for productive use. I found this to be very good, as the stable version is the better choice in corporate environments, for example, but I preferred the newer version for use at home. You seem to have given up on that now, which I think is a shame. In my opinion, this damages trust in LO if you are only offered the latest version, which the description text explicitly warns against! And there is also the inconsistency: On the German page there is a warning, whereas the same version is described as a “stable release” on the English page, which doesn’t fit at all and makes me totally unsure which release I can now use in productive environments. I also don’t like the fact that LO seems to update itself - without being asked!
Thank you for your attention and best regards from Unter-Ostern, Götz

As soon as there is new “fresh” (25.8) released, it will also appear on the download page. The far-reaching ideas what “we” did are just your ideas, not the reality. I hope @cloph also comments.

You can disable Automatic Updates in the menu Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Online Updates.

This is likely a simple translation issue. Someone probably selected the incorrect option. It is reasonable to assume that the English Website is correct.

But thank you very much for reporting it.

In short, your 25.2.5, is meant to be considered as stable.
