Theme (appearance) customisation for Libreoffice

Hi all

I have spent way too much time customising a downloaded “Libreoffice Theme” to get easier on the eyes colour (yes, good old office of the day blue).

The problem I have run into, is that when using Calc now, if I open Data > Validity then in Allow, I select List. In the list box, where you enter your list, that font colour is too light and barely visible (see image linked). I have just about given up trying to identify the name of that text, section, etc in the customisation settings under Tools > Options > Appearance - Customizations. Does anyone know what that text is called or where I can change its colour? I am on PopOS 22.04 and using Libreoffice 25.2.3.2

It is defined by Base Color.
Base Color is the colour of many backgrounds, Sidebar, Address bar, font box, etc.

I am looking for the text colour specifically. I can change the base colour, but that is not what I am wanting to change. The base colour is good, Is there a text colour option here? I see that the Fonts and Font sizes are also affected by this.

I would suggest to set all the Font and Text colours back to Automatic.
To change the text colour back to that defined in the unaltered theme try setting Windows Text Colour to Dark Grey 4 (111111). Or you could set it to Automatic.

N.B. Original Base Color in theme was white

There might be another setting but when I set that to red, the text in the Data Validity list area changed to red. It also changed the other text in the dialogue to red.

You need to Restart LibreOffice or not everything will have colour applied according to the settings.
