Total Editing Time Format

First time poster in the forums so please accept my humblest apologies if I have inadvertently posted in the wrong area.

I have a question around the Total Editing Time field in the File->Properties->General section in LibreOffice Calc. I have a spreadsheet that I started on 23rd July 2025 and am still working on. I need to understand the display and calculation of this field please as this relates to hourly charges that I need to apply relating to the work I am doing on the file.

The display is currently showing as 313:15:00 but I am not sure as to the display format because this isn’t titled, nor does there appear to be anything in the Help files relating to the format - merely that this field shows the time spent editing. Is it in HH:MM:SS? Or maybe MM:SS:(tenths of seconds)? I know I have been working on this consistently for quite some time over the last month but would question whether it is definitely 313 hours that I have been editing this sheet.

Many thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.

The time format is [HH]:MM:SS

→ General (File properties)

Total editing time
Displays the amount of time that the file has been open for editing since the file was created. The editing time is updated when you save the file.

Thank you for your time and response; my main question was more around the formatting of this field. I am unsure if it is displayed as HH:MM:SS or as a different format of time because this isn’t labelled. Is this anything you are able to kindly shed some light on?

even HHH:MM:SS
as suggested in to linked post above, you can experiment on a test file.
