Transfer of LibreOffice saved documents from old Windows 10 computer to new Windows 11 computer?

How do I transfer saved documents from my old computer LibreOffice file to my new computer on which
I have already installed the newest Libre Office software?

My “standard proceeding” (about every 10 years) was, to have a much larger persistent storage in the new computer, to place there also the drive from the old one for a while. Then I copy with OS means everything from the smaller old drive into a kind of backup folder on the new one. Files not just being for the museum are then in a selective way brought to their new long-term positions. This all done the old drive gets reformatted, and can then go to a children’s computer or somewhere else.

This is thought to work well with desktop equipment.

The method described by @Lupp is excellent and recommended. If, on the other hand, you don’t want to get involved with the hardware (moving hard-drives), just use a thumb-drive and copy the files (or the file folder) from your old computer to the thumb-drive, then copy them from the thumb-drive to your new computer. If you are using Windows, the files are probably stored in (and should be stored in) the My Documents folder of your computers. Learn to use the File Manager of your operating system to navigate to these files and folders, and to move the files around. Intelligent use of the File Manager can save you a lot of time and heart-ache. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for responding.

… Perhaps even better; make use of additional software for synchronizing files freely e.g. FreeFileSync.org
-Amongst other things which you might find useful in future (e.g. incremental and batch backups) this will work well with selective large file and data transfer (rather than just ‘all files’) - especially over a local network

… and of course to clone a whole disk to another disk, or make a full byte-for-byte copy of system disc with windowsOS, nothing is fiercer than Clonezilla (+ e.g. PenDriveLinux to install) ( if you are brave enough :@)
