Troubleshooting Calc settings

1. When I select a cell to enter a formula into, the formula is ignored and whatever cell address I click on to get off the original cell is them pasted into the original cell.

2. The “Name box” (that shows the current cell address) doesn’t update and shows either one address or just blank regardless of which other cell you choose.

Any ideas, anyone?

1. Tap Enter or use the green tick adjacent to the left end of the input bar to end editing the contents of the cell. Esc or the red X to cancel.
