Trying to create sub-paragraph inside left side of regular paragraph

I am trying to reproduce an old document from 99 years ago, and it has these indented/sub-paragraphs that are tucked into the existing paragraph as shown in the screen shot of the original document. I imagine there is a proper name for this style of paragraphs, but hunting for 1/2 hour didn’t turn it up and I can’t find anything in LO-Writer that suggests a way to accomplish this.
Sub-paragraph
Is this possible with Writer and if so how does one go about it?
Thanks!

Thanks, that does work just fine - I selected Insert/Frame/Frame and bingo!

Might you happen to know the name for that type on sub-paragraph?

Sure. The easiest way is to Insert a Frame, with fixed width and auto height, anchored to the paragraph where it sits. See attachment.

I don’t know the name of this kind of paragraph in a paragraph. It’s really a container for a comment on or summary of the engulfing paragraph. The content is the kind of thing you’d normally put in the margin of a text, but there it would take up too much real estate, so it gets inserted in the paragraph text in a smaller font size to set it apart.
