Every time I type a + or - into a table, for example a cell that just has in it “+2”, the table thinks I’m writing a formula, and just changes it to “2” instead of “+2”; and for the project I’m working on, I need that +2 to be there. I don’t want this at all - I just want the table to have in it exactly what I type into it, no formulas whatsoever. How do I turn off formulas?
Toggle table → number recognition
That didn’t seem to do anything. Or at least, it didn’t solve the problem I’m having.
The table cells should also be formatted as text (Table|Number Format).

This worked, thank you! I tried selecting the whole table and doing this, and it didn’t work, but apparently it works when selecting individual cells. Thanks for your help!
