The click to highlight text (one click one word, two clicks a sentence, three clicks a paragraph) does not work in firefox but it does in microsoft edge. Also, the right click function does not activate the drop down.
How is this related to LibreOffice?
If you are actually asking about Writer, note that a double click selects a word and triple click selects a sentence, whilst four clicks selects a paragraph.

I’m confused - your question title implies you are having problems with Firefox? Can you confirm what software is not behaving as you expect; if you are referring to LibreOffice please tell what us version you are using - from Help | About - and what operating system and version you are using; e.g. Windows 10, MacOS 11 etc.
I am using Libreoffice 7.3 in Linux Mint Mate.
