Unable to install 5.0.4.2 because elements of previous version found?

Win7 box. Version 4.1.6 had been previously removed. Install ends with:
“Error 1714. The older version of LibreOffice 5.0.4.2 cannot be removed…”

Also, am not able to re-install older versions.
