Have an unprotected sheet where Column A will not show. Selecting a cell in the Name field then Format>Columns>Show does not work.
Alt-Right Arrow widens the invisible column (I can tell by seeing text in A1 move) but doesn’t show it.
Selecting the entire sheet and Format>Columns>Show does not reveal the column.
Selecting the first visible column (B) then Format>Columns>Show does not work.
I’ve closed and reopened both the sheet and LibreOffice, to no effect.
May be, the column width is very small but not completely hidden.
That’s expected.
What if you select the complete sheet (Ctrl+A e.g. or a click on the small rectangle where column headers and row headers meet) and then do ...>Columns>Sow...?
Instead, select the cell in the Name Box, click Format > Columns > Width and type a suitable width, or tick the Default value box.
NB Do Not click Format > Columns > Optimal Width.
Did you freeze column B while the table was moved one column to the right?
Test.ods (7,1 KB)
Maybe upload a copy of your spreadsheet here. I guess you can delete contents from B to end for this case. If nothing else helps we can try to make sense of the xml…
How you did it?
