Unable to switch from overwrite mode to insert mode

No display light. Tried Insert key on keyboard and mouse to toggle between insert mode and overwrite mode, to no avail.

If nothing works, do it from the status bar.

Check in menu Tools - Customize - Keyboard tab if the shortcut is assigned.

Otherwise try Restart in Safe Mode (menu Help).
