Hi, I have been using Libre Office for many years with no problems,
that is until only recently since the latest update to version 7.0.3.1 won’t complete due to an error:
"The feature you are trying to use is in a network resource that is not available"
which is “greek” to me, as an average user and I am not on a network but on a stand alone PC (laptop).
I tried to install previous versions to no avail. I also tried to completely uninstall the 6.4.3 but no joy.
Are there any ideas I could use?
Thanks for your time.
Chrys
Hello,
- Download https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/6.4.3.2/win/x86_64/LibreOffice_6.4.3.2_Win_x64.msi to
C:\Users\chrys\Downloads
- Rename the file to
LibreOffice_(64bit)_v6.4.3_Win_x64.msi
(strange filename requested in your case; in general only.2
from the version string needs to be removed. This makes me feel that you used some alien repository/third party tool to get LibreOffice version6.4.3
installed) - Restart the installation of 7.0.3.1
Remark: This is general Windows problem related to MSI installer cache. In this case the MSI installer requests the MSI file of the currently installed version to install the new version.

Hope that helps.
…it worked!
… It was a question of slightly different file name, as I usually update all apps ‘en masse’ via a Bitdefender AV downloader.
Thank You my friend.
