Update comments everywhere, how do I get back to the normal mode?

(forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I’ve not used LibreOffice Calc for anything substantial until now).

I opened a versioned document this morning, and was faced with a sea of cells surrounded in red
with comments indicated what was changed when by whom. I don’t want to see those, I just want
to get back to work editing the very last version of the document… How do I do that?

Answering my own question:
Uncheck the Edit / Track Changes / Record menu item
