Just updated LibreOffice to 26.8.0.3. Now all my files are garbled. A file that covered an entire page is now two line of overprint over overprint and a file that was 3 pages is now less than half a page.
I think I’m going be sick if somebody can not explain what happen and how to correct.

I have already opened many older documents; they are all fine.

if I copy the file and and paste it in here it is fine. If I try to copy and paste into a new LibreOffice file it is garbled with lots of typing over.

When I copy and paste the file it comes out in almost perfect form which to me is not what Hrbgr was wanting.
Please test with Menu>Help>Restart in Safe Mode.
Perhaps try using the Upload icon in the comment editor (looks like an upward pointing arrow), or simply drag and drop the file onto the comment editor.
