I am running the latest version, and yet after the latest Windows 11 update, I now receive a notification from LibreOffice stating, verbatim, “Please wait while we update your installation.” This happens every time I open any document, and as an author, I open dozens a day. Everything is working well, but I have to sit back 50/60 times a day while the “updates” update themselves and delay the opening of the said documents. My IT guy says it’s a Libre ‘thing’ and not Windows. Can he be right, please?
