Updating table definitions in a Base Form

Windows 10

I am working with MariaDB as the backend. I have a form backed by a single table in the MariaDB. The table had two columns when I first created the form. I have now added more tables to the database table via HeidiSQL. I was then expecting I could just go back to Base load my form and update it to see the new columns and add them to the form. I’ve looked over the docs and tried various things, but I cannot see how to get Base to update its knowledge of the table shape.

I am expecting to develop this iteratively and that the table structure will change over time. I would like to just update the form rather than create a new one for every change. Is this possible ? If so could you point me to any explanation or how ?

Hello,

Make sure you have committed the changes in HeidiSQL.

Also try this. Before loading the form and from the main base screen, select the Tables section. hen from the menu select View->Refresh Tables. Then you can see if your changes are present.
