Using Calc with VBA/Macros

I have an excel file that I purchased to use as a check for calculating structural elements named ProBeam from Construction Calc. I open the file and it asks if I want to open a copy or as read only. This file is not open already. I click open copy and get the security warning about the macors. I enable macros and then get a warning:

BASIC syntax error.
Label CustInputCellFormat undefined.

I click ok and then the same error pops up in a never ending cycle that pops up and never opens the file. It works fine in excel.
