This is a general question as to, whether or not I can build and use a database, for the sole purpose of Inputting, sorting, and graphing my medical history and test results, past and future. I really need to do this and I am hoping that I am on the right track. I would very much appreciate any suggestions or thoughts on this matter. What do you mean with graphing? Might be it will give little problems to use charts in a report, but this problems could be solved by workarounds.
So: Give a little example, not only a description. If you haven’t used Base earlier, use Calc for the example.
RobertG, Thank you for responding. I am looking for a way to input all of my Medical Doctors, Medications, Health issues, Tests and especially Test results, (mainly bloodwork). I know that I can enter these in a spreadsheet, but I want to make all of the fields searchable. My main goal is to be able to compare blood levels at different times or during different time intervals, using line graphs. I will look at Calc as an alternative. I am learning at 68 years of age.
Solution with Base will be better than with Calc, special when searching and filtering data.
If you have to add days to a date or something like this the best start will be internal Firebird. You could write me per private Mail if you need help…
