Using Draw to sign PDFs

I use Draw to open PDFs and sign them using the Curves and Polygons feature.

Its as close to signing them though i wanted to open them as static images so i could mitigate the formatting issues where things would move around.

I tried using a similar app on my phone Pen&PDF but it is unmaintained and i want a similar feature in Draw.

Thanks

Draw is not a pdf reader; it is a drawing program that can open pdfs.
It cannot use embedded fonts so the pdf might have a very poor appearance if the same fonts are not available on the computer.

You would be better to use the signing capabilities of a dedicated pdf reader. Adobe Reader, for example, has Sign & Fill. Other pdf readers should have something similar.

My apologies but I discovered you can import the PDF as an image in a blank project and it’s imported as a static bitmap and therefore I can edit on top. It’s better than nothing.

Hmm I use Adobe reader but that’s news to me. Thanks

Shall this be a “surrogate” for your hand-written signature?
I can hardly imagine that.
But if this is your use-case, you should shurely better scan an actual handwriting (to jpeg or tiff e.g.) and insert it as an image.

i did that at first. But having a png of your signature could lead to identity theft so I do it on the fly in paint then copy and paste into PDF so I can’t save a carte Blanche signature
