Want to delete content by move in Navigator, and Shift+left-click to extend text selection, but cursor moves when jump to heading in Navigator

Is it possible to jump to a bookmark or heading without moving the cursor? I’m currently reading the Libreoffice documentation .odt, and I would like to delete the sections that I’m probably not going to reread in the near future. I want to delete from the heading, “Quick printing”, to heading, “Exporting to PDF”. I open the Navigator, and double-click on “Quick printing”:

My cursor jumps to the heading (it’s to the left of the “Q”):

From this point, I need to extend the text selection all the way down to the “Exporting to PDF” heading.

I’d like to do this by moving to the heading, and pressing Shift+left-click (consecutive/contiguous selection). However, I don’t know any way to easily move to “Exporting to PDF” without also moving the cursor there.

Any possibilities? Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge this is not possible. I tried it once myself. I recommend to file and enhancement request via the bug report site: https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/
