Web layout and print layout toggle - which is which?

Version LO 4.1.3.2
In Writer, when I click on View → Web Layout, and then click on View → Web Layout again, the view toggles.
The behavior is the same as if I clicked on View → Web Layout and then on View → Print Layout.

The same behavior applies to View → Print Layout.

In one state the display is centered, in the other it is centered.
So: I’m unsure which layout I am seeing. How do I tell which layout I’m in?

I think I may have the answer myself.

When I click on the View tab, and look VERY closely, either the Print Layout icon or the Web Layout icon has a dim gray background.

When the Print Layout icon has the gray background, the display is centered, and when the Web Layout icon has the gray background, the display is left-aligned. So I’m assuming the center-display corresponds to the print layout.
