When adding a symlink origin as a trusted source, LibreOffice adds the destination directory

I have a symlink pointing from “C:\Projects” to “D:\Projects”.

When I try to add “C:\Projects” as a trusted source, LibreOffice adds “D:\Projects” instead.

Is this desirable?

Shouldn’t LibreOffice be agnostic about this (as every app)?

I’m using LibreOffice 25.8.5.2, Windows 11.
