When attempting to upgrade from 3.3 to 3.6

Trying to upgrade from LibO 3.3 to 3.6, I was told to exit LibO and LibO Quickstarter. LibO wasn’t running and I don’t know about the Quickstarter thingy. I’m on Win7.

tried to uninstall 3.3 and got same request to exit the LibO process and Quickstarter.

Any suggestions? BTW no sign in Task Manager of any process relating to LibO or soffice.bin (suggested from IRC correspondent

Quickstarter = "quickstart.exe" in Task Manager
Does uninstalling v3.3 work after a system reboot?
Do you have installed OOo / Apache OpenOffice?
