When I print my layout, the text is a little blurry

When I print my layout, the text is a little blurry.

My layout contains a few low resolution images and text in 2 text boxes. When I export the layout to PNG, the PNG options are automatically set to 37 pixels per centimeter. I tried adjusting this to 100, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference, although I can’t be sure because I’ve only looked at it on my fairly low resolution monitor and haven’t printed it out yet.

When I export it to PDF, there are no options for resolution. The text in both PDF and the PNG look the same when printed, still a little blurry.

Any help would be appreciated.

Libre Office Version 7.3.0.3

Consider exporting to svg unless output is intended for Microsoft Office format which doesn’t support the format.

To export to png at a higher resolution, in the export dialogue make a note of the width dimension, then set the desired resolution. Go back to the width dimension field and enter in the width that you noted earlier. OK

Thanks Earnest. I tried both suggestions. Type didn’t look any better as SVG. Type didn’t look better exporting to PNG at higher resolution. Maybe it’s a problem with the typeface. I’ll try different fonts.
