When typing fractions of an inch like 1/2" it shrinks down to a very small size. How can I stop this?

10 1/4” to this 10 ¼”. Use to be able to keep it at the first example. Thank you

Are you sure you are talking about Math (formula editor of LibreOffice)?

Hello,

if you mean

Calc:
Set Tools -> AutoCorrect Options... -> Tab: Options -> Option: [ ] Use replacement table to deactivated –or– delete the 1/4 from replacement table in Tools -> AutoCorrect Options... -> Tab: Replace

Writer:
Set Tools -> AutoCorrect -> AutoCorrect Options... -> Tab: Options -> Option: [ ] Use replacement table to deactivated –or– delete the 1/4 from replacement table in Tools -> AutoCorrect -> AutoCorrect Options... -> Tab: Replace

Notes(s)

  • Regardless from which LibreOffice module you remove the 1/4 it is also removed from the other (in fact there is only one replacemnet table).
  • There are also entries for 1/2 and 1/3
  • Take care that the Remove tab also contains :1/4:, which you should leave for any eventuality.

Hope that helps.
