Where are the Offline Help Archives?

From the LO download page, there’s a link to a page for older versions of LO. Is there a link to a download page of the older Offline Help archives?

I’ve re-instated my original post in this thread https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/no-offline-help-for-lo-portable-why/70182/11 so that you can follow the instructions again if needs be (though I think Lupp’s solution to be the better of the two on offer).

As your question is related to this thread:

The removed answer told you to extract the help-files from the downloads for the installed version. The archive is linked at the usual download-page - the words “in the archive” are linked to the following address:
https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

This is also described in the pdf/odt @Lupp has linked in his answer as source for the msi-Files.

This is what happens when developers rely on forums to write their user manuals. The only reason I started using LO portable was that I can’t get the installed LO offline help to work or a straight answer as to why it doesn’t. I know I’m going to be repeating this whole process in 6 months when the next portable update comes out. Here’s the link for the Offline Help archive. https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/7.2.1.2/win/x86/

@jerryemerydelacruz1 are you saying that you would prefer to be running a fully (normally) installed version of LibreOffice in preference to using LibreOffice Portable?

Well, no. John Haller, who does the packing for LibreOffice Portable at PortableApps, has already packaged LibreOffice Portable 7.2.2 and submitted it to LibreOffice – that was a around a week ago so the new portable should be released sometime soon. I suspect that that new version will really be LibreOffice Portable 7.2.2.2 but you will never know until such times as you ‘install’ it and check.

I installed dozens of versions of LibreOffice and the respective offline help from .msi (and sometimes also Dev versions in parallel) since LibreOffice existed (V3.3) the standard way by simple doubleclicks, and never experienced a problem
At what stage did you get a problem?
The location of the offline help is (relative as related to the “program” folder under the installation path) the same as described for the portable case. “help” is in the same folder as “program” and has -aside of general content- a subfolder for every language you installed help for.

I don’t use PortableApps, I have a lot of portable apps, but none that are listed in Portable Apps.

I prefer portable LO, just didn’t know there was a portable version.
