I’m using MacBook, with OS Tahoe 26.2, LibreOffice 25.8. These are incompatible. I just downloaded both of these and now I regret it but don’t know how to fix this and how to retriever my LibreOffice docs.
I overwrote the previous version of LibreOffice. In particular, I’m upset because I cannot open any of my Written docs.

Have you got an older Mac with an Intel chip, or a newer Mac with an M1, M2 or M3 chip? For the older make sure you download them Intel version; for the newer download the Apple Silicon version of LibreOffice
It has a 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 chip.
Where do I find the Intel LibreOffice that I need to safely download please?
