Which version of libreoffice should I choose. I want to use for simple, home use. Want to avoid complexity and bugs. Thank you.
LibO version numbering scheme is X.Y.Z. The first general rule could be “avoid any zero on those three numbers” and a second, less important rule could be “from the available versions, pick the one with the largest Z”.
For me 5.3.3 works well (follows the first rule), but if you don’t need OpenType support or the other new features, maybe 5.2.7 is a better choice (second rule).

i found 5.1.6.2 and 5.2.6.1 the best version.
but the most simple version which i tested, is 4.3.7.2!
