Why are the executable Office files (*soffice*.*) in newer downloads "Nt Found" when I try to launch the program on my Windows 10 PC?

I have tried on numerous occasions to download newer versions of Libre Office, but the program keeps searching, but never finding, some "soffice*.* files that apparently aren’t included in the downloaded files from this site. When I can’t find them in the installed file folder(s), I uninstall newer versions and return to the last “new” version I use, which is 6.4.7. Is there anyway I can make an upgrade work, or are the soffice.* files something that can be copied from an older version to a newer one? I should also mention that I have an uninstaller program from IOBit that includes a program that searches for program upgrades and recommends I install the newer files to stay ahead. I appreciate any help you can provide.

This kind of thing should be avoided as a matter of principle. Or do you know exactly what this tool does?

IMHO, my recommendation:
Uninstall LibreOffice.
Backup the user profile if necessary.
Delete all folders and files of LibreOffice (program and user profile).
Download a current version.
Reinstall completely.
Test it.

The soffice.* files are fundamental. I would hazard a guess that you didn’t turn off your antivirus when installing LO and it quarantined those files as “unknown” executables. See link Hrbrgr provided to General Installation issues
