Why can’t I see beyond post 10 in my thread?
Go to the bottom of the topic, before the Suggested Topics, and choose show n more comments (where n is a number).

…screenshot
Doesn’t exist.
It might be your browser, for me it works in Firefox on Windows and in Android although I have to click it twice because it updates to 14 and then opens the remaining comments.
There’s no link. I’m using Vivaldi on Android. I’ve seen the link before but it’s just not showing up on that post.
I don’t use Chrome so cannot help with particulars. I see that the Vivaldi forum also runs on Discourse so it is probably not a site issue. Can you refresh the page and see more?
Maybe the anti bot security needs refreshing, in Firefox I simply click in the address bar and press Enter, wait for the security notice to disappear and then I can browse again.
Sometimes the site goes down for maintenance for a bit.
Each time I open a fresh link to the post.
Wouldn’t that be solved by coming in fresh each time as well?
It’s not down. I just don’t have a link.
I’m going on the premise that I posted something since the 10th entry which didn’t get an error so I’m assuming it acutally posted. Obviously I cannot see if anyone else did. But you can right? Do you see any posts beyond https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/inaccurate-calculation-of-time-of-day-plus-time-span/136386:
I never did any divide by 24 stuff in Excel. I’m not saying there may not be logic underneath that does that but I never had to put it in a cell formula. In fact, you could add whatever time variant you wanted to day-of-the-week and a time-of-day and Excel would also calculate the correct day if you added enough time to cause it to change days. How does that work in Calc? Can I just add the day-of-the-week into my time-of-day cell?
Unlike other sites there’s no post link so I don’t know the anchor.
I’ve never had any issues seeing posts on other sites but they don’t have this blocking limit. I mean if you’re gonna block something block the older posts. Leave the intial post and then the last 9 posts. I’m assuming this is a money thing paying for the traffic to the site?
One of the other sites that I also think uses Discourse has suddenly started to only show new posts but then you have no clue what the conversation starter was. Reading post 7 makes no sense. Hard for me to comprehend how much money we’re talking here. There’s not a huge amount of traffic on here from what I see but that doesn’t make the stie free to operate and having a tiny budget one does what one can to save a $. I get it but you really better be saving some money because people will get annoyed. They’re actually deleting white space between paragraphs is it that dire?
Maybe the commercial sites should pay a percentage of their profits to support websites that have no or few profits.
Maybe check your pop-up blocker app settings, I saw a similar problem on the Vivaldi forum.
In the meantime, Vivaldi help might be of assistance, Troubleshooting issues on desktop | Vivaldi Browser Help
The speech bubble is gone from the latest post replaced with “reply” which is a bit more indicitive.
The clicking to quote is fine but when every other Discourse has it setup to copy the entie post which I’m also not a fan of that you’re replying to it’s just odd when there’s an outlier.
It’s not the only oddity. When you click an email link to visit the topic it doesn’t even take you to the post just the thread.
This is Android. I don’t even see a pop-up blocker setting.
Almost forgot…I see 2 more posts today.
Can you share a screenshot like mine?
When I went back to the orginial link using the one I posted above the 2 new posts that I saw this morning are now gone but there’s a link now show 9 more comments So it’s changed again. I replied to a post in that thread and now instead of 9 more there are 10 more that would seem right because i added one except here’s the weird part. It actually shows me one less post than it was showing me when I createtd this post. I’m actullay at the post above that one now. I didn’t change anything.
I went into that “site security” or whatever it is. Says it’s not blocking anything. Trackers blocked 0 and ads blocked 0. I didn’t change anything but read the exciting conclusion below.
It is something to do with Vivaldi, best to ask on their forum unless you have enabled any third party ad blockers for pop-ups
There’s no add-ons on Android browsers.
Here is a link to the last post in that thread Inaccurate calculation of Time-of-Day plus Time Span - #29 by robleyd
Firefox on Android has addons (extensions). I’m running a bunch.
