Why did LibreOffice stop my ability to post URLs

why did LibreOffice stop my ability to post URLs?

I just tried microsoft works and I could post my youtube URL in a document there. I still can’t post it to any LibreOffice document. What’s going on? Who made this change, this bug?

I use windows 7. I tried both google chrome and firefox browsers.

I just tried to post a URL from my html webpage too. Libre Office won’t let me post that either. What’s going on?

Do you mean paste? Turn off your clipboard manager.
Or do you mean that you cannot follow the link? You need to Ctrl+click the link (can be changed in Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Security > Options)

Perhaps you have URL Recognition turned off in the Options tab of Tools | Autocorrect | Autocorrect Options.

If this isn’t the solution, please explain what you mean by post URLs

Yes, paste.

I could not find a clipboard manager.

I cannot see any "autocorrect options under tools, options.

I decided to load an updated version of libre office, and so far I can copy and paste URLs in libre office documents. It was strange though that in my older version this suddenly stopped working today. Very mysterious.

@robleyd comment refers to Tools > AutoCorrect > AutoCorrect Options > Options, 5th from top

I see it. The two boxes are checked now in my new version. I don’t know why they would suddenly have become unchecked earlier today in my older version. Do you?
