Why entering 1/1/30 into a cell by key press, the result is 01/01/1930 instead of 01/01/2030?

Column A and B were entered by key press.
The result of key press 1/1/30, 1/1/31 and 1/1/32 were 01/01/1930 , 01/01/1931 and 01/01/1932.

On the other hand, column C and D were entered by dragging the fill handle across each cell.
The result of dragging 01/01/30, 01/01/31 and 01/01/32 were 01/01/2030 , 01/01/2031 and 01/01/2032.

How can I enter 1/1/30 by key press and then get 01/01/2030 ?

Hi Ratslinger

Not a reply to post but just wanted to say thanks for all your replies (apologies if there is a proper, not seen, route for thanks).

Due to your prolific assistance to others over time, I did not need to raise any questions as I familiarised myself with LO base to write a loyalty program for a friend.

Just wanted you to know that your efforts are appreciated.

Thanks again

Thank you for the kind remarks. sorry for the response delay - been staying away. Have long stated there is little need to ask new questions as so much has already been posted.
Hope all future endeavors go smoothly.
