I downloaded an old book that’s in PDF format. When I import it into LibreOffice so I can make some minor changes, almost every page has some sort of text correction. It almost looks like it’s design is to make the text darker, but the problem is in most cases, it doesn’t align perfectly over the original text, so it can make it look like letters typed over each other.
If I double click on this text correction, a box/frame appears around the text that I can then delete, but this document has over 600 pages. Is there a way I can remove this corrective action for the entire document? My best guess is that it’s something called a text frame, but my searches to remove them from an entire document has not been fruitful thus far.
Any help would be appreciated. I’m running LibreOffice 4.4.3.2 on a Mac (El Capitan)
