For some reason, when I right-click on a cell in Calc, a context menu appears with various spell-check options. In the past, right-clicking raised a menu with editing options. I want to get the editing menu back. How do I do this?
Why spelling context menu appears instead of editing context menu when right-clicking a cell in Calc
If there is a potential spelling error filling the cell (otherwise right-click on a blank part of the cell to get the context menu) then you could:
- Select Ignore All from the right-click menu then right click the cell again. (Ignore All only lasts for the session). Or
- Left click the cell and press the context/menu key on the keyboard
. Or - Left click the cell (or select the entire column), right-click the language shown at the bottom Status bar and select None (Do not check spelling). Then right click the cell
