Due to work i have to have multiple windows open at the same time to cross reference information, however LibreOffice on this new computer refuses to remember my ‘Restore Down’ window size which is an issue I have never had before.
I have tried the standard Hold shift and Close, Cascade window, etc. But none have worked.
Aid would be appreciated as it does this every time i open a new window and i have to manually resize each time.
Bug tdf#150236 should be fixed but not for me in

Sorry, too hasty. I was using a parallel installation which I have not personalised the way my normal installation is set up.
If I open through the Start Centre then it remembers the last window setting for Start Centre and applies that to the next window which may or may not be suitable
If I open an individual program with a shortcut, e.g. to swriter.exe then it remembers the last position of that program. Typically, Calc and Impress I would have full screen but Writer and Draw would be often half screen.
Fixed, updated to latest version didn’t help but uninstalling and doing a fresh install appears to have fixed the issue. Still not entirely sure why it was doing that.
