Windows 11 and LibreOffice 7.5.5

I just started on a new laptop with Windows 11, and thought that the latest LibreOffice would be good. But the current version did not work well, and the interaction between the operating system and LO 7.5.5 caused corruption to both for me. This might not be the same with others, but I went back to 7.4.7.2. and it is good.

Hi @malimusavir. Can you post your question as a new question and delete this comment. It is not related to the original post. Cheers, Al

Hi. I have been running 7.5.5.1, and 7.5.5.2 for some time without any corruption. A description of the problem you encountered would be helpful.

Possibly useful resources could be

&

I checked the resources you provided and, they are being removed by MS, so did not work. And my computer likely has issues. Your reply confirms that, thanks.

I see that the resources will still work.

I used ninit.com to handle the installation and the resulting download file sizs are:
normal, 347.3 and using ninit, 352.0
I renamed the file to keep them separate

Your ninit link goes to a web page for sale. I suspect your corruption is related to the potential bloatware/malware/spyware installed by that program accounting for the extra size. I would do a full anti-virus system scan with most up-to-date definitions and a well-known audited anti-virus program/website.

LibreOffice can install and uninstall by itself; the use of third party programs can cause complications.
