Windows 11 issue on ARM

Hi

Have been using libre office on my Windows for arm snapdragon machine using the latest version. Recently installed a windows 11 upgrade and now when I try to launch the program I get the error code 0xc000007b

I tried erasing visual C++ and reinstalling it. no luck.

Any ideas?

I tried everything here and no luck

How to Fix the 0xc000007b Error on Windows 11/10/8/7

I am attempting to run libre office 25.8.2. for windows ARM. was running it fine for weeks and think the windows upgrade broke it
Thank you in advance

I have the same issue and I am not able to resolve this. Starting LibreOffice from the start menu or from the command line shows the error message “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)” No additional information can be found in the Windows log files, or the command prompt.

This also happens when I try to start LibreOffice in safe mode.

My Windows on arm version is 25H2 (build 26200.171), LO version 25.8.3.2. I have also tried reinstalling older versions of LibreOffice that used to work (such as 25.2.5.2), with the same result. I updated the .NET framework to the version that is compiled for aarch64.

I don’t use LibreOffice on a daily base, but the error is likely there since mid October and seems related to a Windows update (otherwise older versions of LibreOffice would work).

However, I have no idea at the moment what to do to resolve the problem.

Turns out more was wrong than the libre office solution

. Citrix which I use for work started malfunctioning and could not update either

I think somehow the Visual c installation was wrong for the machine. I wound up wiping the machine and starting from fresh. The current installed apps are different and are all for ARM. Before there were a lot of x86 components but I didn’t know if they were needed or not. Anyway the machine is working great now with the libre office
