Windows XP won't open the installer because it is a .man extension file. what to do?

I have downloaded the installaer from the website but it saves as a .man file and Windows can’t open files iwth a .man extension. How can I install Libre Office ?

Thanks for the link to the IE8 bug and solution here:

This solved the problem and LibreOffice has now installed.
