Is there a way to make long database fields in labels word-wrap? I am working on call number flags for my library, and noticed some books in my database have titles longer than will fit on one line. I would like to have them word-wrap instead of truncate at the edge of the label frame if there’s any way to do that.
It works for the sample I created to test your earlier question, Data merge labels with text in multiple orientations. I shortened the frame that I inserted to ensure some records wrapped.

If you have very long words, maybe you need to add a soft hyphen?
I think the vertical text is pushing the horizontal text down the label so although the text wraps, it wraps below the boundary of the label. This is the reason I suggest to add a frame inside the label to take the horizontal text.
Check also the line spacing and the above and below spacing.
