In Writer, how do I put a dropdown calendar in a template document file for distribution/use by others to select a date and save their own file, please? I am not hi-tech so will need step-by-step instructions. (running LO v7.0.0.3)

Hello,
- Open a Writer document
Form -> More Fields -> Date Field- Draw the Date Field to the location, where you want that appear on your template
Right click -> Control Properties -Tab: General- Provide a Name (e.g.
DateUserInput) - Scroll down to Dropdown and select
yes(important to get the calendar) - Optional: Set Date Min
- Optional: Set Date Max
- Optional: Set Date Format
- Optional: Make any other desired options to control properties
- Close the Control Properties window
- Disable design mode through
Form -> Design Mode - Test your control

In my case I was even able to place the Date field frame on top of a table cell, so it has a very good graphic layout, too!
