Writer does not display correct values in File Properties

Writer - File - Properties… »> The ‘File Properties’ dialog does not give the correct values:

Item 'Template:'shows nothing!
Although the document was created (based) on the original ‘built-in’ template (e.g. the ‘Modern business letter patty’ template).

Item ‘Changed:’ ! Does not show the date and time of the last save in LibreOffice format and the author of the change on the document (as described in help)! It shows nothing!

Item ‘Created:’ ! Displays the date and time of each document save ! Not the date and time of the first save of the document and its author (as described in the help).

I also tried saving and reloading the document (I also tested the save with renaming - using Save As) - and unfortunately with no effect (it doesn’t work). No idea why.

Thank you for your informed response.

P.S.
I’ve tested it further, and I have another insight:
When I create a new document based on my own (user-defined) template,
so the name of this template appears in the File Properties dialog. However, when it comes to the internal (original) template from the installation, then its name is not displayed.

Please, edit your question (= modify it, don’t answer with a comment) to mention OS name, LO version and save format.
For best analysis, attach a 1-page sample file.

Make sure that you have your name, or at least initials in Tools > Options > LibreOffice > User Data. Without that LibreOffice cannot identify an author.

I cannot recreate the issue on Windows 11, tried with LibreOffice 6.4.7.2, 7.3.7.2, 7.5.5.1

I’m also using LibreOffice 7.4, but on Debian GNU Linux, …

Version: 7.4.7.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 40(Build:2)
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.1; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Debian package version: 4:7.4.7-1+deb12u12
Calc: threaded

…, and have recently experienced similar unexpected behavior. I’ve added the “modified date” field to the footer of a page and the field shows a null value. When I go to look at the file properties of the document, the “Modified” date and time also shows a null value. This is after I have saved the document on numerous occasions. What gives?

Thank you for any insight you can share on this matter.

@Cony.Blanc, please attach a 1-page sample file.
