Writer entering recover for open documents during live editing

This started happening a few days ago. I have not updated and have version 7.3.0.3.

When editing this post it happened again when I went to check on the version of LibreOffice as if that action caused it. I have two Writer documents open on OSX Big Sur 11.6.4.

Advice appreciated.

Please see LibreOffice 7.3.0.3 unstable and apply both parts of the answer
