When I open documents with writer set to View / Normal the first page is displayed with lots of grey blank space on the left hand side and pages 2 and 3 are displayed side by side. Previously View/Normal displayed each page separated vertically with each page centred on the screen.
This issue applies to new documents and to existing documents
You have activated “book view”. To revert to “single page”, display the bottom status bar with View>Status Bar. At left of zoom slider, you’ll find a series of icon buttons:
from left to right single page, multi-pages, book. Click on any of your liking.
PS: when asking here, it is recommended to always mention OS name, LO version and save format since there are differences across combinations.
