I have had around 10 crashes when using the mouse wheel to scroll through the document that has a few hundred pages. The program would just freeze and 2 seconds later the program disappears. It tries to recover the file the next time Writer is run, but it doesn’t have all of the changes. I’m going back to the previous version.

The question is also who your warning is supposed to help. The version you mentioned ran for me for a few weeks without any problems.
Could it be your file?
I think it crashed when trying to display an image in a large document when scrolling with the mouse wheel. I went back to the previous version this morning and so far no crashes.
[Hrbrgr] I checked yesterday and didn’t see an update. I’ll let you guys test it out for a month before I upgrade.
