Writer window sizing

Hi, I am using latest updates of Windows 11 25H2 and Libre Office 25.8.3. A happy New Year to everybody
I like to use a Libre Office Writer file sized to a few mm in width larger than A4 so that the character highlighting colour on the top banner just shows, I am then set for a fast start, especially if the height is positioned fully on the screen too. It appears that a page profile to sizing and position is not saved for particular files, but the last size window geometry used in other files or modules seem to change a particular Writer file page profile that has been saved. I notice their are a large number of like observations in previous forum questions without resolution. Is it possible to have peculiar screen sizing and position saved for every saved Writer file instead of the floating global last saved page profile. It would certainly help with workflow when swapping between modules and files etc.
Thank you.

Hi @fpy, Not quite sure where “Is It” came from! Thank you for your link, interesting that this has been hanging around for so long.

This is a request for enhancement, and yes it is still needed in Libreoffice 3.5.3.2 says it all. If we can fill this topic with up votes we might get it looked at by a developer kindly taking it under their wing.

you actually got answered on 168645 – Place an option to add author data in the comment #c27
so watch out for 26.2 → Development versions | LibreOffice - Free and private office suite - Based on OpenOffice - Compatible with Microsoft

@fpy and all, I stuck comment 26 on Bug 38062, It turns out that Bug 38062 was a duplicate of an older Bug 41777. So I sent a request to Libre ESC to have another look at the problem, and also requested a UX review. I received a reply from Buovjaga saying “Already implemented in 26.2.” as you point out in your last comment. I look forward to using 26.2 when next stable well used at 26.3. Thanks for your help
